Alan Taylor

Author of Unicorn Close in the Dark Scotland Anthology, and Finding Victoria in the Dark London Anthology

Alan Taylor works with numbers during the day and words in his spare time.  Born in Edinburgh, he has lived and worked in Hong Kong, Dublin and London, and is currently quite happily back in Edinburgh, where he lives with his husband. He dabbles in photography, cooking and planning global domination (badly).

His writing is mainly short stories – he likes to write SFF, sometimes in other people’s universes, but increasingly he likes to explore the alternative paths that history never took.

He can be found on twitter as alan_is_writing, even when he isn’t writing, and he occasionally blogs at alaniswriting.wordpress.com.

Alan writes Unicorn Close for the Dark Scotland anthology, and Finding Victoria for the Dark London anthology.
